Guru Reports Announces Plans for Radar Detector Test
Vienna, VA (February 1, 2004) Jump Media Group: Guru Reports, an independent research group has announced its plans to produce a radar detector and automotive electronics test.
The test will review nearly a dozen radar detectors from manufacturers such as BEL, Cobra, Escort, Whistler and Valentine One. Editor-in-Chief Steve Litscher says, "It's an opportunity for us to expand our test scope."
Litscher went on to state, "We have begun to design testing parameters for a Radar Detector test, and have enlisted the help of certified police radar instructors and various engineers. It's our goal to make this test as scientific as possible and to avoid the whole 'he said, she said' argument that has circulated around the radar detector world for years."
Guru Reports is scheduled to begin preliminary tests as early as June 2004, and hopes to release the report in late 2004.
